Outreach Team

basic-ourtreach.JPGEaster Seals Arkansas' Outreach Program travels across the state providing evaluations, consultations, equipment loans and inservice training to meet the needs of students with disabilities ages three through 21.

After receiving a referral, the Outreach Team will go to any school in Arkansas to provide these services.

The Outreach Program uses an integrated team approach and builds a collaborative relationship among consultants, teachers, parents, administrators and therapists to assess and recommend services for school-age children with disabilities. The team is committed to providing quality services to enable these students to reach their highest potential.

Students with disabilities often have needs that cross several disciplines. In an effort to address these needs, the Outreach Team offers the following professionals for evaluation and consultation services:

  • Occupational therapists
  • Technology consultants
  • Special educators
  • Speech-language pathologists
  • Psychological examiners
  • Educational consultants

Each professional has experience specifically relating to individuals with disabilities. They provide on-site consultations individually or as a team. For more information about the Outreach Program, call (501) 227-3600.
